About Our Staff
Matthew Davidson, D.O. is the Medical Director of our Weight Loss Clinic. He is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He joined Central Pennsylvania Surgical Associates, Ltd. in 2004 following graduation from the Surgical Residency program at Community General Hospital. Dr. Davidson is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery and is credentialed with the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence program at Community General Hospital/Pinnacle Health. In addition to his commitment to Bariatric Surgery, Dr. Davidson continues with a very active practice of General Surgery. He provides surgical services at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA along with his practice at Community General Hospital in Harrisburg.
Lindsay Bowman, PA-C, MHS graduated from Lock Haven University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in health science. In 2009 she graduated from Lock Haven’s Physician Assistant program. She is certified by the NCCPA and is a member of the American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants.
Lindsay works closely with the physicians to provide excellent care for bariatric patients.
Joni Schmidt, R.N., B.S.N., C.B.N. is the Bariatric Nurse Coordinator. She completed her nursing degree at St. Luke’s School of Nursing, Bethleham, PA and her Bachelor’s of Nursing Science with a concentration in obesity and bariatric surgery at Eastern Mennonite University, Lancaster, PA. Joni is a certified bariatric nurse and maintains an active membership in the National Association of Bariatric Nurses. She is an Integrated Health Member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
Linnae Goda, MS, RD, LDN, CHES is the bariatric dietitian. Linnae received her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Penn State University, and her master’s degree in Health Education from East Stroudsburg University. She has worked in a variety of hospital, rehabilitation, extended care, and community settings providing nutrition education and counseling services to children, teens, adults and the elderly. Linnae has a special interest in helping patient’s make positive nutrition behavior changes while they work toward healthier lifestyles.
Kelly Weinhold is the Bariatric Patient Financial Advocate. She has been with ECH since May 2011, working as front desk part-time at the Wellness Center before moving to full-time as Patient Financial Advocate. Kelly has experience working in all aspects of outpatient registration including many years working in doctors’ offices verifying insurances, collecting authorizations and referrals and assisting patients navigate the health care system.
is the Office Assistant. She has been with ECH since 2009. She helps patients schedule appointments and helps with any administrative questions you may have.
