The Emergency Department is prepared to handle your family's unexpected medical emergencies, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Staffed by doctors board certified in Emergency Medicine, Certified Physician Assistants and Emergency Nurses, the Emergency Department is supported by the full range of diagnostic services offered through Ephrata Community Hospital.
E-Care for Everyday Emergencies
In addition, Ephrata Community Hospital offers E-Care, an emergency care service designed to get people with everyday emergencies feeling better and back home sooner. Everyday emergencies include strains, cuts, minor burns, minor fractures, sore throats, rashes, minor sports injuries and workplace accidents. These situations typically require basic procedures that can be done quickly and easily in E-Care. E-Care is open Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from Noon-Midnight and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 PM-Midnight.
