For more than 65 years, Ephrata Community Hospital Auxiliary members have volunteered their time and talents to help provide high quality healthcare throughout Northern Lancaster County. Through proceeds from the Gift Shop, Hospital Day in the Park, the annual Starlight Gala dinner dance, basket bingo and other special events, the Auxiliary has contributed more than $1 million to enhance the services and programs throughout the Ephrata Hospital system. This past year alone, the Auxiliary donated $140,000 toward the expansion of the Ephrata Cancer Center.

Being an Auxilian is a great way to participate in the growth of your community Hospital. You have the opportunity to enhance your leadership, communication and public speaking skills while enjoying personal growth and friendship. It is as much of a time commitment as you want to make it. You can help with one of the worthwhile fundraisers, sit on a committee, or attend informational meetings. Many Auxilians are also Hospital volunteers, although this is not a requirement for becoming an Auxilian. As volunteers, Auxilians may work in the Gift Shop, deliver flowers, serve as a cafeteria cashier, and various other duties.

Membership is open to men and women 18 years of age and older. Dues are only $10 a year. General membership meetings are held at 7:00 pm in the Hospital Board Room on the 3rd Monday of each month. Come join us and help the most important institution in the area that can directly affect each of our lives!
