Ephrata Community Hospital will launch the community phase of a $5 million capital campaign, "The Emergency Department Campaign", with the annual Day in the Park event on Saturday, June 2 at Grater Memorial Park. Proceeds from this annual community fund-raising event support the Emergency Department expansion that began in May.

Ephrata Community Hospital has begun implementation of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to automate medical records. This project will help to provide better patient care by integrating health information among doctors and hospital staff.
