Ephrata Community Hospital will launch the community phase of a $5 million capital campaign, "The Emergency Department Campaign", with the annual Day in the Park event on Saturday, June 2 at Grater Memorial Park. Proceeds from this annual community fund-raising event support the Emergency Department expansion that began in May.

Ephrata Community Hospital has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®–Stroke Bronze Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes Ephrata Community Hospital’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care by ensuring that stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted standards and recommendations.
